SONP Skirt One

The Summer of No Pants kicks off with a two-day ordeal that has led me to believe that patterns are overrated.

I started with a pattern, then just kind of did whatever I wanted. I actually measured my waist but the skirt still ended up too big. Cue my old costume shop skills! Alterations to waists are simple if you don’t care what the inside looks like.

Yes, it’s folded in half and on a chair. No, I didn’t take a picture of me wearing it. I’m still not comfortable posting pictures of myself, but I’m working on it.

  1. I really love the colour – it’s beautiful! Just to add, here in the UK, a ‘summer of no pants’ would be quite a different kind of summer 🙂 At least, in some parts.
