Purse from Custom Pattern

I finished my first bag with the new pattern I created. I used a compass to create the semicircle flap. I cut some corners, such as less interfacing and batting, because I want to save it for the ones that will go in my shop. The flap definitely needs it!

I love the understated little birdies. Silly me, I forgot to take an inside pic; there’s an inner band of the same brown as the strap, and the rest of the lining is subtle pink flowers that match the flap. Now I have a cute spring purse and a new pattern.

Happy sewing,
Skylar
